Zarb-e-Azb: 15 militants killed in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Air strikes by the security forces killed fifteen militants during the on-going operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR), fifteen militants were killed during air strikes in North Waziristan.

On the other hand, the Levies Forces told that eight bullet riddled bodies were found in an area bordering Tirah Valley and Orakzai Agency.

They said that bodies were moved to Jamrud Levies Centre. Initial report suggested that the deceased belonged to banned outfit of Lashkar-e-Islam.

Security forces told that 11 terrorists were killed in clashes that took place in Aka Khel and Kalaya area last night.

Pakistan’s security forces have been battling against militants in the country’s northwestern tribal area to put an end to terrorism.

The Pakistan army launched a full scale military offensive "Operation Zarb-e-Azb" June this year in North Waziristan as part of its campaign against militancy.
